It was purchased and renovated by The Flatley Company in 1984. The building is considered a Boston landmark with its distinctive neon sign and beautiful water views. The 529 Main Street building has a beautiful new entrance, lobby, waterfront and landscaping upgrades.
The Schrafft Center complex also includes an office building at 465 Medford Street and an industrial building at 425 Medford Street. The 465 Medford Street building has recently been renovated with a brand new lobby, entrance and landscaping upgrades.
This legendary building at 529 Main Street in Charlestown was formerly the manufacturing site of the famous Schrafft’s Candy Factory.

FROM THE NORTH
Take I-93 South to exit 28 toward Sullivan Square /Charlestown. Merge on to Mystic Avenue. Take the I-93 South ramp towards Boston/Sullivan Square Charlestown. Merge on to Broadway. Broadway becomes Maffa Way. Enter traffic circle (rotary) and take the second exit on to Main Street. The Schrafft Center will be on your left which is 529 Main Street.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take I-93 North toward Boston to Exit 28 Sullivan Square/Charlestown. Turn right on to Cambridge Street. Turn slight right onto Maffa Way. Enter traffic circle (rotary) and take the second exit on to Main Street. The Schrafft Center will be on the left which is 529 Main Street.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Take the Orange Line to Sullivan Square. Free regular shuttle service to the The Schrafft Center.
